5. Sulumani Chimbetu is the fifthy most followed Zimbabwean musician on social media

Sulumani Chimbetu is an award-winning Zimbabwean musician and composer. He is the son of Simon Chimbetu and the elder brother of Dendera musician, Tryson Chimbetu. He was born in 1974 and has been performing since the early 1980s.

Sulumani is known for his signature style of dendera music, a popular Zimbabwean genre of music. His music is a mix of traditional Zimbabwean rhythms and instruments, such as the mbira, marimba, and mbila, with modern western musical styles and instruments. He is often credited with helping to popularize dendera music in Zimbabwe.

He is one of the most celebrated and successful musicians in Zimbabwe. Jah Prayzah has released eight studio albums since his debut, including Tsviriyo (2003), Tseu Tseu (2005), Kumbumura Mhute (2008), Ngwarira Kuparara (2011), Tsvigiri (2013), Kutonga Kwaro (2015), Mdhara Vachauya (2017), and Chitubu (2018).
